Good-Scooter
Adventurer Marek Jelinek rode his red scooter an incredible 7850km from New Delhi, India to Singapore. Along the way he visited several schools in Bangladesh. Among them was the Chalantika Educational Centre, where children are learning thanks to Czech donors. The proceeds of the campaign were donated to these children.
From time to time, someone knocks on ADRA's door with a good idea on how to help others. Our door is open and we are happy to hear from anyone with a plan. One such kind soul with a great idea was Marek Jelinek. He came and said that he would like to add another dimension to the trip he is currently planning. He would like to visit schools in Bangladesh and help the children we support here. And then it came: "I'm going to travel around Asia on a scooter." You should see the look on our faces. Little did we know that Mark had already crossed one continent on a scooter - South America.

The word spread and before our very eyes a project was born, which was later named Good-Scooter. His scooter helped children in one of the poorest areas of the world to fulfil their dream of going to school. People could buy Mark's kilometres and the proceeds supported the Chalantika Education Centre in Bangladesh. Marek visited the Chalantika Education Centre, which he and his fans support.
